The location data is tracked in the sites database at GeoBC, identifying the physical location of buildings or access points to properties (for emergency response).

TRIM-EBM is a 2D product containing TRIM 1 features excluding toponymy, contours and DEM for which area based features have been closed to form polygons, symbol points have been replaced with polygons and vertical integration of streams has been removed. Used with 2D mapping products that can be colour filled.

Urgent and Primary Care Centres provide a flexible resource to meet urgent and primary health care needs, primarily in large urban centres where a higher percentage of the population is unable to find or access a regular family doctor or nurse practitioner. They provide better access to same-day, urgent, non-emergency health care, including in the evening and on weekends, as an alternative to visiting emergency departments.

An amalgamation of spatial information for trails, Sites, Reserves, and Interpretive Forests derived from Forest Tenure Administration (FTA). Points are derived from coordinates linked to each recreation number (e.g., REC1567), identifying trail heads, camping locations, or access points. Primary purpose is to monitor closures of specific recreational trails and areas.

This dataset contains parks and protected areas managed for important conservation values, dedicated for the preservation of their natural environments for the inspiration, use and enjoyment of the public. Places of special ecological importance are designated as ecological reserves for scientific research and educational purposes. Source data is Tantalis. Includes spatial boundaries for BC parks, ecological reserves, and protected areas, which are a subset of Crown tenure types held in the Crown Land Registry system.

Parks contains Municipal forestry recreation areas, North Cowichan parks, water access points, and Non-North Cowichan recreation within municipal boundary. A full list of areas and facilities can be found at the Parks and Recreation Department on the North Cowichan website. Data is refreshed daily Monday to Friday.
